Thanks Glow magazine!

I think today has been a great day! I met up with blip after work, had a wonderful time with her, and I came back and saw that I won a contest from Glow magazine!

I was surprised to see that I have won it because, to be honest, I had even forgotten that I wrote in to take part in the contest. It was really simple – I think I had to email the team to tell them why I like the magazine. So I wrote in early Feb when I was on sick leave and had nothing much to do.

Hurray! I won a Novita aroma diffuser which I think is very useful since I have a sensitive nose but yet I want some relaxing scent in my room all the time. I currently use a fake GoodAire but the smell dissipates pretty quickly. Cool… I’m really chuffed. Can you tell? =D

Another Fr3b package!

I just received my 3rd package from Fr3b! Gotta tell you, I love this website so much. Really helps save money as you only pay for postage + some handling fees to try the samples. Beats shelling out more moolah to try a retail sized product, only to find out that it doesn’t suit you after 2 uses.

Freebie: Loreal HIP eyeshadow pigment

I’ve heard many good reviews about L’Oreal’s new HIP Pigment range, but never had the chance to try it since it hasn’t been launched in Singapore yet. I believe this is L’Oreal’s take on MAC’s pigments.

Try them here! They are offering 4 different versatile shades: Restless (natural, nudey beige), Rebel (a green that flashes gold at certain angles), Tenacious (rich, chocolate brown), Intrepid (purplish pink).

Freebie: Maybelline Superstay Silky Foundation sample

While getting more information on the previous freebie (Define a Lash), I came across the Maybelline website offering free samples of their new foundation Superstay Silky Foundation! Hop on over to the Maybelline website now!

I have tested it at a pharmacy previously, but I didn’t really like the product due to its design. The twin nozzle cap is pretty filmsy, and it didn’t pump out equal amounts of the foundation and base. But then again, it might be because the bottle was a sample, and who knows what the previous sampler had done! The poor bottle has gone thru several rounds of abuse, thus attributing to the demise of the cap? Maybelline US is offering a free sample, so if you’re eligible for it (or perhaps have friends and relatives in the US), why not try it for free? You’ve got nothing to lose anyway!
